“For me the main thing Noel did was prepare me for the future, both in my hockey career and life overall. I would describe Noel as a hard coach with a purpose. Noel knew when he had to be tough on me and when to take it a little easier but at the end of the day there was always a lesson to be learned. Noel finds a player’s strengths and develops them, while still finding ways to correct and manage weaknesses to get the most out of a players game.
